Ryder Fish for Laguna Beach Magazine

I don't always have the luxury of having an assistant with me while on location. Therefore I often need to travel light when it comes to my equipment. That said, one of my favorite pieces of gear that accompanies me on every assignment is the Westcott Rapid Box. The 26" octabox is super light, sets up quickly and produces beautiful light. On this particular assignment my task was to shoot a dramatic portrait of 8-year-old surfer Ryder Fish for Laguna Beach Magazine. Here are a few from our quick session together. Read more here.
